A organização do Summer Game Fest 2023 anunciou que a revelação do gameplay de Mortal Kombat 1 acontece no dia 8 de junho durante a transmissão que começa às 16h (horário de Brasília).
Mortal Kombat 1 será lançado em 19 de setembro para PS5, Xbox Series, Switch e PC.
